OneRepublic Search For a Funky 'Connection' on 'The Late Show': Watch
OneRepublic brought their arena-sized sound to The Late Show on Monday night (July 30) with a performance of the funky track off their upcoming album, "Connection."
The Colorado pop-rock band, all dressed in black and gray clothing, tricked out the stage with a blinking red and white lights framing the drumkit and screens that flashed images of different cityscapes as lead singer Ryan Tedder fittingly sang, "Tryin' to disconnect/ Thinking maybe you could show me/ If there's so many people here, then why am I so lonely?" as the scenes of urban areas flashed behind them.
The performance of the punch track with a monster beat comes just days after Tedder teamed up with Logic for the anthemic, uplifting single, "One Day." OneRepublic is in the middle of a tour with the Zac Brown Band, which extends through late September.
