Ariana Grande Pushes 'God Is A Woman' Release Date Up: 'Surprise'

Ariana Grande took to Twitter to announce that her long-awaited single, "God Is a Woman," will be released tomorrow (July 13).

In a pair of tweets, Grande built up her fans' hopes and thankfully delivered. "i have to tell u sum in a lil bit," the pop star wrote. "surprise. twenty four hours til giaw."

Grande first announced that "God Is a Woman" would be the next single off her upcoming album Sweetener in June. At the request of a fan on Twitter, the singer explained the themes of the song: "sexual female empowerment & how women are literally everything & the universe is inside of us tbh."

Sweetener is due out on Aug. 17.
