Over the weekend, a fan tweeted about the recent engagements of Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber (to Pete Davidson and Hailey Baldwin, respectively), noting that the pop stars share the same manager -- Scooter Braun -- and implying that the fast-tracked relationships were all his doing. “First ariana get engaged to pete Davidson and now Justin bieber to hailey [Baldwin] the devil works hard but Scooter Braun works harder,” the since-deleted tweet read.

Grande spotted the message and didn't take too kindly to the idea that anyone but herself is in charge of her love life. She replied: “..... you do realize we are human beings who love and have lives ...... right .... ? and that scooter is a wonderful human being too who cares first n foremost ab our health and happiness ? love is lit. shit happens. i hope to god it happens to you too. u deserve it.”

Another fan jumped in to assure Grande that they all love Braun: "it was just a stan twitter joke, we stan and love scooter." Grande replied, "okay okay ... be nice to that man. he’s wonderful. and very human. always puts his artists’ health and happiness first."

Grande and Davidson got engaged three weeks to the date after they started dating, while Bieber and Baldwin, after a long history of knowing each other, rekindled their romance last month and got engaged over the weekend.
