Every Song Covered by One Direction Members on Their Own, From Zayn's Elvis Redo to Harry's 'Girl Crush'
Zayn Malik surprised fans with a unique cover of Elvis Presley's "Can't Help Falling in Love" on Sunday, just 10 days after dropping a sultry rendition of Beyoncé's "Me, Myself and I" as teasers for his new album that's "on the way." The 25-year-old singer has released some amazing solo tracks this year as well, but his covers are a reminder of the talent that got him into the spotlight in the first place -- also, a reminder he's not the only One Direction member with kick-ass covers in his catalog.
Though Elvis and Beyoncé are the only artists Malik has covered in his post-1D days and Louis Tomlinson has yet to release anything but original solo singles, their other 1D bandmates have delivered quite an array of covers since the guys went their separate ways. As Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Liam Payne have been performing around the globe, they've each shared renditions of hits by the likes of Camila Cabello, Fleetwood Mac, John Mayer and many more. And yes, they're all incredible: After all, covers are what caught the attention of One Direction's mastermind Simon Cowell back in 2010.
While it may be hard to stop spinning Zayn's "Can't Help Falling in Love" cover, check out all the songs 1D guys have sung in their post-group days below.
