Nicki Minaj Puts the Call Out For a Collab, Normani Volunteers as Tribute
Pound the alarm, Normani is ready!
While fans await the highly anticipated Nicki Minaj album Queen, to be released Aug 10, it appears Minaj is also putting in some work, work, work on some side projects. Fresh off her eye-popping performance at the BET Awards, Minaj has been hitting the studio to not only put the finishing touches on Queen, but work on some secret endeavors as well.
The "Chun Li" songstress put out the word on Twitter that she's in the market for a female vocalist to be featured on a track, and opened up to fans for a flood of suggestions for the collab. Former Fifth Harmony member (and avid Minaj fan) Normani was quick to jump into the discussion with just a few emojis.
Meanwhile, though fans were quick to get excited about another collaboration on Queen, Minaj set the record straight that this collaboration is not intended for the Aug 10 release.
After Normani weighed in, her millions of Twitter fans went into shock, envisioning that a female-collaboration like this may someday come to fruition. It now looks like all eyes are on Nicki Minaj to make the next step.
