MAX Enlists Chainsmokers, Lin-Manuel Miranda & More New Yorkers for 'Still New York' Video With Joey Bada$$
Emerging pop artist MAX released a new single Tuesday (June 26) featuring rapper Joey Bada$$, titled “Still New York.” The song is supported by a video featuring tons of New York-based celebrities showing off their hometown, while singing along to the track.
MAX sings about his love for the city in the song and how no matter where he goes, he'll "still be New York." This pop tune proved that Joey Bada$$ can seamlessly rap on any beat, from old-school hip-hop to modern pop.
A range of famous New Yorkers join MAX for the visual, from local radio personalities to Hamilton mastermind Lin-Manuel Miranda, The Chainsmokers and Andy Grammer. (How many celebs can you spot?)
In the description for the video, MAX also revealed the dates for his upcoming U.S. tour as well as his plans to donate all proceeds from the song to New York charities. Watch the video for “Still New York” below.
