In.Drip. Gets Things Moving with Debut Single 'Titles': Exclusive

Aine Rua O’Regan

Los Angeles singer-producer In.Drip. is creating a new identity with the name and abbreviation to match for his debut single “Titles.”

On his latest track, the L.A. native cruises effortlessly through a breezy pop track that conjures up the image of a summer night’s drive. Beyond the passing local references, “Titles” pulls from an indescribable yearning that only comes from behind the wheel.

“‘Titles’ is about an imperfect love,” In.Drip. tells Billboard. “It’s longing for night talks to last forever, but realizing that things are not the same in the morning...sometimes I’ll go driving in the hills or in downtown after the world has gone to sleep. ‘Titles’ is written from that point of view.”

In.Drip. has an EP slated for late 2018 that is co-produced by pop specialist Devon Corey (Bebe Rexha, Wrenn). Because “Titles” was one of the producer’s first beats ever made, there’s only more mystery as to where the project could go, but the ride is sure to go smoothly following In.Drip.’s vision.
