In the hours leading up to her performance at iHeartRadio's Wango Tango 2018 on Saturday night (June 2), Ariana Grande hinted that she had songs off her upcoming album on her mind -- and she followed that up by singing through one of her most anticipated singles of the year.

Back in May, Grande teased a bit of "The Light Is Coming," her latest duet with friend and collaborator, Nicki Minaj, and she opted to work the bop into her Wango Tango set.

She was even extra polite about it, asking the crowd if that was cool before she and her dancers let loose: "We wanted to give you a little preview of it tonight. Is that okay? I'm so nervous! Let's go!"

Grande had nothing to worry about, clearly, as "The Light Is Coming" went over super well with the Wango Tango crowd in Los Angeles. (It went over well with boyfriend Pete Davidson, too, who gushed about the performance on Instagram shortly after the fact.)

After the show, Grande posted messages of gratitude to her Instagram Story -- and revealed that preorders for her new album, Sweetener, kick off June 20.
