"I was going to release just one song today, but I'm too excited so I'm giving you two! LET'S DANCE."
Meghan Trainor has given fans another taste of her next album Thursday (May 10) by way of not one, but two new singles: "Let You Be Right" and "Can't Dance."
Trainor continues her retro-inspired theme with "Let You Be Right," a bright, bass-thumping love song guaranteed to get toes tapping as she sweetly surrenders in the chorus: "I don't wanna fight tonight, I'ma let you be right." As if that wasn't enough funk for one day of releases, Trainor also dishes up "Can't Dance," a synth-driven display of her confidence in a steamy club setting; "Even if you can't dance, I'll handle it," she seductively assures the song's "shy boy" subject over a shuffling beat.
"I was going to release just one song today, but I'm too excited so I'm giving you two! LET'S DANCE," Trainor said in a release.
