Taylor Swift's Reputation Tour Has Begun & Twitter is Extremely Overwhelmed

Whether you're "ready for it" or not, Taylor Swift's Reputation Tour has officially commenced. The pop superstar's fifth trek around the globe began Tuesday (May 8) at the University of Phoenix Stadium in Glendale, Arizona, and fans are flooding Twitter with their overwhelmed emotions for a multitude of reasons.

Those who were lucky enough to be in attendance on the tour's first evening shared photos of Swift's over-the-top, snake-themed visuals, which some claimed were even more mind-blowing than the production from her previous 1989 Tour. Opening acts Charli XCX and Camila Cabello set the scene for a night full of girl power, and nobody was worried about any potential haters hate-hate-hating as the two joined Swift onstage for a choreographed dance along to "Shake It Off."

But perhaps the most newsworthy of the day's events was Katy Perry's peace offering. The American Idol judge -- who is widely rumored to be the subject of Swift's vengeful hit "Bad Blood" -- sent a make-up letter to her former foe along with an olive branch, a symbol for peace. Swfities, clearly, had a lot to digest.
