In celebration of the UEFA Champions League Final Opening Ceremony, “IDGAF” breakout sensation Dua Lipa will take the stage in Kyiv, Ukraine, on May 26, moments before the highly-anticipated soccer match kicks off. “I was honoured to be asked by the UEFA and Pepsi to perform at the [ceremony,]” Lipa confirmed in a statement. “It’s a once in a lifetime opportunity… I’m planning to put on an unforgettable show!”

The game, which will air in over 220 countries around the world, will be an epic showdown between Real Madrid and Liverpool, both teams with ravenous fans that are equally as excited to see their team victorious. “We are excited to welcome Dua Lipa to Kyiv,” said UEFA’s Marketing Director Guy-Laurent Epstein in a statement. “Her energy will provide the crowd with the perfect performance just moments before the ultimate match in European club football kicks off.” While Lipa isn’t particularly keen on football, she promised in an interview with BT  that “there’ll be a whole lot of girl power there.”

Lipa recently added to Calvin Harris’s growing retro catalog with “One Kiss,” whose music video currently has over 15 million views and counting.
