Heartbroken songs aren't required to sound sad. Allow Ocean Park Standoff to prove it to you -- along with the help of Lil Yachty -- with their booming new single "If You Were Mine," premiering exclusively through Billboard below.

The pop trio are no strangers to effortlessly mixing acoustic and electronic influences, but with Lil Yachty's characteristically Auto-Tuned verse, the catchy tune is kicked up yet another notch. The result is a jam perfectly fit for summer festivities (or "chasing the person you want to be with," which the band said was the song's inspiration).

With Ocean Park Standoff, music is a family affair: The band's guitarist, Samantha Ronson, is the sister of renowned producer Mark Ronson. However, she stands strong on her own when it comes to both DJing and crafting addictive tracks from the band. Their debut single, "Good News," peaked at No. 22 on Billboard's Adult Contemporary airplay chart, and their collaboration with hitmaker Yachty is sure to help them climb even higher with "If You Were Mine."

"Yachty is the nicest guy to meet," the band said. "We had a chance to hang with him at a video shoot and talk music and life. When we first heard Yachty was down to collaborate on the song, we didn’t believe it. He had just had such a massive year! We love his whole vibe of positivity and inclusion...He brought his unique perspective to the track and verse that, since we received, we have been holding our breath to share with everyone."

Ocean Park Standoff will be hitting the road with Plain White T's beginning in June. Listen to them pine over a love interest with Lil Yachty in "If You Were Mine" below.
