Ariana Grande Preps 'Tonight Show' Takeover with Skits, Chat & TV Debut of 'No Tears Left to Cry'

Jimmy Fallon promoted the May 1 appearance with a "No Tears' parody video.

Get ready for the Ariana Grande Tonight Show takeover. On Wednesday morning (Apr. 25) the singer announced that she'll be the guest for the entire May 1 episode of the show, sitting down to chat with host Jimmy Fallon, participating in skits and performing her new single "No Tears Left to Cry" on broadcast TV for the first time ever.

The announcement came in the form of a deer-filtered Instagram post, in which a doe-eyed Grande shouted out all the fans who've posted their "No Tears" cover videos, noting that a brand new one is definitely her favorite so far. "I think you're gonna love it too, check it out."

The clip was, of course, one in which Fallon earnestly croons the disco-fueled hit with slightly different lyrics. "Tuesday, May 1st, Ariana Grande's here," Fallon sings, his lips glossed to a high sheen. "For the entire show... Ariana, The Tonight Show, Fallon and Grande are ready to go."

Watch the video below.

Grande surprised fans at the second weekend of Coachella when she made an unannounced appearance on Friday (Apr. 20) during Norwegian DJ Kygo's evening set to perform "No Tears" less than 24 hours after the single's release.
