Beyonce and JAY-Z's On the Run Tour II: Everything We Know So Far

According to JAY-Z, "No one wins when the family feuds." Fans of the 48-year-old rapper and wife Beyonce all win, however, when the pair decides to go on tour: On The Run II is officially happening.

Here’s a play-by-play of what we know about the highly anticipated sequel team-up trek so far.

February 21: Ticketmaster UK allegedly put up a link to purchase tickets for a JAY-Z/Beyonce tour. The post was removed as quickly as it went up, but a stealthy fan grabbed a screenshot.

March 5: The rumors of a joint tour were fueled once again when Facebook and Ticketmaster both posted event dates for the tour. Just as before, the posts were removed within minutes. Here’s a screenshot that detailed a Philadelphia stop on the tour.

March 12: Beyonce took to Instagram to confirm that On The Run II was a go. A video announcement posted by the Lemonade singer featured her and JAY-Z appearing stronger than ever. Set to Marcia Aitken’s "I’m Still In Love With You," the clip showed stills of the previous On The Run tour and a reinforcement of their union. OkayAfrica reports that the promo material is an homage to a Senegalese film titled Touki Bouki

March 19: Tickets for the North American leg of the tour were made available to the public on Monday (March 19) after a presale on March 14. Each online ticket purchase was announced to come with a complimentary six month Tidal subscription for new users. To date, there are 35 stops planned -- nearly double that of the first On the Run tour. For a few of the U.K. tour dates, tickets will go on sale March 23.

On The Run II comes months after the release of JAY-Z’s confessional 4:44 and over a year after Beyonce’s Lemonade, companion albums that touched on family, personal growth, and rumors of infidelity. The couple previously supported these albums on solo tours. The first On The Run tour in 2014 was in support of Beyonce’s self-titled album and JAY-Z’s Magna Carta Holy Grail, both released in 2013.

The tour begins on June 6 in Cardiff, Wales. Here are the tour dates to find a show near you.
