'RuPaul's Drag Race' Finalist Shangela Releases Club Single 'Pay Me' After Controversial 'All Stars 3' Finale

Some RuPaul’s Drag Race viewers expressed dismay during Thursday night’s season finale when Trixie Mattel was controversially crowned over fan favorite Shangela Laquifa Radley. But don't worry: Shangela just dropped the new club single “Pay Me,” just in time to cheer up those spurned fans.

Explaining the song’s high-energy vibe, Shangela describes herself as a “high-energy performer. And I always want my music to be something that I would get hype to in the club or in the car.” And there’s more to come: A “Pay Me” video shoot is scheduled this summer in Los Angeles, and Shangela promises more tracks throughout the year.

You can hear "Pay Me" via iTunes.
