Indie rock veterans The Fratellis have dropped their video for “Starcrossed Losers" exclusively on Billboard. The song is the first single from their upcoming fifth album, In Your Own Sweet Time, out March 16.

"[The track] feels like something we've been working towards without realizing,” vocalist and guitarist John Fratelli said of the new song. “It seems like a merging of everything we've done previously with where we find ourselves going now. It's a mixture of shimmer, tale telling, light & shade."

The video was shot in reverse, which made for a unique story told to the tune of the upbeat rock song. “The highlight of the shoot was getting these three pairs of actors together who were all supposed to look like different versions of each other, that really surprised the actors,” director Alexander Darby told Billboard. “Filming in reverse was fun but a challenge too with those long takes, we really had to map everything out carefully and on a couple of shots did way more rehearsals than we did takes!"
