Draymond Green #23 of the Golden State Warriors poses for a portrait during All-Star Saturday Night as part of 2018 NBA All-Star Weekend on Feb. 17, 2018 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

Fergie's unconventional performance of the national anthem at the NBA All-Star Game Sunday night (Feb. 18) quickly sparked criticism on social media, but there were also some pretty telling reactions caught on camera as Fergie sang. One of the most meme-friendly reactions was from Golden State Warriors power forward Draymond Green, who appeared to be laughing during the performance.

As the camera panned on Green, he first had a rather blank look on his face. While it's unclear if Fergie's rendition was what triggered an outburst of laughter, fans certainly thought that's what made him crack.

When asked about what was going through his head during the song, Green replied, “I was just chillin’, man,” he said with a smirk in a post-game interview, clearly not knowing how to explain his expression. “I don’t know. It’s the national anthem.”

Fergie defended her unique rendition on Monday (Feb. 19), saying, "I'm a risk taker artistically, but clearly this rendition didn't strike the intended tone."
