Dua Lipa performs in the Live Lounge for BBC Radio 1.

Following up a string of recent live performances, Dua Lipa took to the BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge -- the British radio show's acoustic stage -- on Wednesday (Feb. 14), for an pair of performances.

The singer delivered a haunting and hypnotic cover of Arctic MonkeysDo I Wanna Know,” accompanied only by a piano, for a stripped-down take of the original. The 2013 single gave her a venue to showcase a range that's not always heard in her pop hits, as she impressively toggled from low and raspy on verses, to airy and high on the chorus. And the cover is timely, as the British indie rock group recently announced they’ll be ending their nearly five-year hiatus with a sixth studio album at some point this year.

Of course, she also performed a version of "New Rules," the song that has nearly one billion views on YouTube, climbing to a high of No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart this week. Check out both of the performances below.
