Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's royal wedding — as with all royal affairs — has been heavily scrutinized by the general public. Folks have been dying to know who'll end up on the guest list for the extravagant ceremony taking place May 19.

Looks like Elton John may have landed himself a prized invitation to the wedding, as he recently rescheduled a run of shows in Las Vegas during the weekend of the royal wedding, which is set for May 19 in St. George's Castle at Windsor Castle. A statement on John's website explained that the cancellation was due to a "scheduling conflict." Whether this means he'll be simply attending or performing at the latest royal celebration, the coincidental timing of his cancellation sparked rumors of both among fans.

A few months after John finishes his run in Vegas, the "Rocket Man" singer will kick off his final tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road. During a performance at New York City's Gotham Hall last month, John told CNN's Anderson Cooper that he would say goodbye with a 300-city, three year run of shows which will begin in Pennsylvania in September.

Elton has yet to confirm that he will be attending the royal wedding in May.
