Legendary singer and now Las Vegas staple Celine Dion was forced to cancel two of her upcoming shows at The Colosseum stage at Caesars Palace as she's recently fallen ill.

For the past week, the singer has been suffering severe symptoms from a lingering cold such as congestion, and irritation of her vocal chords from a "lingering cold," a statement on her Facebook revealed. Her physician instructed her to get some much-needed rest, in order to fully recover. The singer announced her sickness and the cancellations for Friday, Jan. 19 and Saturday, January 20th via social media.

Although Celine, Caesars Palace and AEG Presents deeply apologize for any inconvenience caused to ticket holders, they are offering full refunds. However, they are not responsible for hotel, travel, and other expenses.

Celine is expected to resume performances on March 27. For more information and details on how to receive a refund, report to her Facebook page here
