The dream of big hair and manscara will be alive and kicking this summer thanks to some of the most beloved MTV 1.0 bands pulling on their neon best for the Lost 80's Live Tour. The planned 30-city outing will bring together A Flock of Seagulls, Wang Chung, Animotion, The Romantics, Missing Persons, Men Without Hats and other Reagan-era hitmakers.

The first eight dates of the tour announced so far kick off on Aug. 3 with a show at the Ford Amphitheatre at Coney Island Boardwalk in Coney Island, New York, with stops in Colorado, Texas and California. Launched 14 years ago by Rob Juarez of the Boss Booking Agency, the Lost 80s is being co-produced by TBBA, in collaboration with Jim Hanzalik of World One Presents and Jeff Epstein and Jeff Allen of Universal Attractions Agency; UAA were behind the wildly successful I Love the 90s Tour featuring Vanilla Ice, Salt N Pepa and more.

In addition to A Flock's "I Ran" and Wang Chung's "Everybody Have Fun Tonight," fans can expect to hear beloved synthy hits from Naked Eyes ("Always Something There to Remind Me"), Dramarama ("Anything, Anything [I'll Give You]"), Nu Shooz ("I Can't Wait"), Gene Loves Jezebel ("Desire [Come and Get It]"), Book of Love ("Pretty Boys and Pretty Girls"), Boys Don't Cry ("I Wanna Be a Cowboy") and Farrington & Mann ("The Promise"), among others.
