Mariah Carey performs on stage at the New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square on Dec. 31, 2017 in New York City.

Fear not, folks: Mariah Carey did eventually get the hot tea she was looking for during her New Year's Eve performance.

“I just want to take a sip of tea if they’ll let me — they told me there would be tea,” she said Sunday night (Dec. 31), after singing "Vision of Love." “Oh, it’s a disaster. Okay, well we’ll just have to rough it. I’m going to be just like everybody else with no hot tea.”

Carey's request was fair enough, considering New York City rang in 2018 in subzero temperatures. The superstar, who was headlining Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve With Ryan Seacrest, posted a picture on Instagram to show concerned fans the hot tea arrived later in the night.

"Found my tea!" she quipped on the caption for the photo, in which she appears possibly amused by the situation as she sips her beverage.

See the snapshot below for closure on the hot tea calamity.
