Miley Cyrus and Brooke Simpson perform on the live finale of The Voice.

The two-night season finale of The Voice kicked off last night (Dec. 18), with the final four contestants taking the stage to perform with their coaches. Miley Cyrus delivered a show-stopping performance of her hit, "Wrecking Ball," with Brooke Simpson, the 26-year-old soulful singer who has trained alongside her coach Miley all season.

The two were able to showcase their genuine chemistry through their effortless harmonies, with Simpson belting out power notes over Cyrus' true-to-form singing of the tune. Both decked out in glamorous silver outfits, the duo truly looked like they belonged together up on the stage.

It was especially a memorable night for Miley, as this is the first time one of her contestants made it all the way to the final round. The overwhelmingly proud look on Miley's face throughout the performance tells it all, and she later on referred to Brooke as "real deal" talent.

To put a final stamp on her "herstory" movement throughout the season, Brooke also performed "What Is Beautiful," which was written by two female lyricists. Lastly, for her final performance of the season, Brooke performed the timely Christmas classic, "O Holy Night" in spirit of the holiday season.

Watch the performance below and be sure to tune in for the season 13 finale of The Voice tonight on NBC.
