After announcing the cancellation of the Unbreakable tour in 2016 to dedicate herself to her first pregnancy, Janet Jackson did not forget her fans this year came stronger than ever for State of the World tour.

On Monday, December 11, Jackson's tour made its stop at the BB&T Center in Fort Lauderdale, FL (Miami area), where fans were eager to see their idol back to the stage. The State of the World tour begins with a video that carries a message against racism, which honors people who have died in police violence acts. Then, Jackson enters the stage to perform "The Knowledge," wearing a black suit. The moment definitely creates awareness about violence worldwide.

Great set list of hits

The set list has over thirty songs, including many of Jackson’s biggest hits, such as "Nasty”, “Feedback”, “Alright", "All Nite (Don't Stop)", "That's The Way Love Goes", "What About" and "Rhythm Nation.” The combination of upbeat jams and ballads made the perfect balance for the two-hour show.

Jackson fans are unconditional, and patiently waited for their idol and her new tour. As soon as Janet Jackson hit the stage, the crowd got up. In some occasions, the attention of the singer was captured by fans nearby the stage; some received kisses, and to others she addressed some words. Of course, nobody left the show disappointed: The wait was worth it.
