Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani perform on the Honda Stage at the iHeartRadio Theater on May 9, 2016 in Burbank, Calif.

Following the release of her first holiday album titled You Make It Feel Like Christmas, which was released in October, Gwen Stefani will now have her own holiday special airing on NBC named after the album -- Gwen Stefani's You Make It Feel Like Christmas -- which will air on Dec. 12 at 9 p.m.

According to Entertainment Tonight, Stefani disclosed in a press release that the special will be a "modern take on traditional Christmas specials" with an hour of holiday sketches and music performances.

Stefani will perform a duet with her boyfriend Blake Shelton, who is featured on the album's title track and was just named "Sexiest Man Alive" by PEOPLE. On that matter, Stefani told PEOPLE that Shelton very much deserves the title.

"He's perfect for it," the 48-year-old singer-songwriter said of her 41-year-old country boyfriend. "Somebody that is funny and has a sense of humor is sexy -- that's the No. 1 thing."

She went on to say that Shelton's "doesn't even know how cute he is. [He's] cocky but only because he's a cowboy."

“It’s interesting because I don’t think any of those things like beauty or sexy or whatever way you want to describe humans is necessarily a physical thing that people are attracted to,” Stefani concluded. “It’s all about the heart, and he has that big ol’ gigantic heart in there, so he’s quite an attractive human. I’m not the only one that thinks it!”
