Sam Smith gave an intimate, moving performance of his song, "Too Good At Goodbyes" Thursday (Nov. 9) on The Late Late Show hosted by James Corden.

The mood was perfectly set by the assortment of warm hued vintage lamps and couches that littered the stage, with fans and the band sitting comfortably on the furniture around Smith as he crooned to the audience. A trio of backup singers accented the stripped-down performance during the chorus.

Just over a week ago, Smith also joined Corden for a round of Carpool Karaoke. The host and singer harmonized surprisingly well on Smith's hits, as well as on an exciting take on "Work From Home" when they were joined by Fifth Harmony. Watch the Nov. 1 segment below.
