FLETCHER, "You Should Talk"

Up-and-coming pop singer Fletcher is back with a bittersweet kiss-off of a music video for “You Should Talk.”

During the glitchy opening, the sound of static plays over frenzied jump cuts. Then the sound abruptly cuts out, revealing the minimalist logo for Fletcher.

The writing is literally on the wall, written in red lipstick -- and it echoes the title, “You should talk.” Those words ring over and over again in the chorus, a sign of the pop singer’s fury aimed at a former lover.

The song is about a relationship ending without any closure and the brooding atmosphere of the song complements the lyrical content. The EDM-tinged track is darkened when Fletcher sings, “Could be heaven, so why is it hell?”

The glossy music video is noticeably lavished in baby blue and Pepto Bismol pink lighting -- the colors that represent the bisexual flag. However, Fletcher recently told Billboard that her sexuality has no specific label and she identifies as sexually fluid. “I just express my opinion and stance on sexual fluidity and love and whatever that may be," she said.
