Lauv has been putting up formidable streaming numbers lately and is set to tour Asia with Ed Sheeran next month. But when he’s through with those opening gigs, he’s got an impressive U.S. headlining tour awaiting him in 2018.

Lauv just announced his first round of dates for next year’s tour, beginning Jan. 18 in Seattle. Through Feb. 21, he’ll play 21 shows across North America, before heading to Japan, Australia, New Zealand, and numerous European cities though the end of April. Ashe and Jeremy Zucker are slotted as openers for the North American shows.

Today, Lauv also premiered a new Spotify playlist featuring many of his top tracks, including his two songs with over a hundred million plays on the platform: “I Like Me Better” and “The Other.” New music is expected on the playlist Nov. 17.

Billboard recently highlighted Lauv as one of the first four artists picked by Spotify for its new emerging artist program, RISE. Read more about that project here.

The 23-year old artist born Ari Staprans Leff is also a force in the songwriting and production game, logging recent credits on tracks like Demi Lovato and Cheat Codes’ "No Promises" and Charli XCX’s “Boys.”

Find Lauv’s 2018 itinerary below. Before then, he has six stadium/arena gigs lined up opening for Ed Sheeran in Asia next month; the first few dates of that tour had to be postponed after Sheeran suffered a cycling accident.
