Kelly Clarkson performs during the CMA 2016 Country Christmas on Nov. 8, 2016 in Nashville, Tenn.

Kelly Clarkson’s keeping busy this year. Besides having her eighth studio album Meaning of Life coming up on October 27, she also wrote a children’s Christmas book titled River Rose and the Magical Christmas, which follows a little girl named River Rose -- inspired by Clarkson's 3-year-old daughter of the same name -- who embarks on a Christmas adventure to the North Pole with her dog Joplin.

The book is a holiday follow-up to Clarkson's first children's book, River Rose and the Magical Lullaby, which she released last fall. The holiday picture book is accompanied by a new, original Christmas song by Clarkson, “Christmas Eve,” featuring bells and a jubilant horn-filled melody that captures the magic of the holidays.

"Christmas Eve" marks Clarkson's first holiday track since her 2013 full-length Wrapped In Red. Pre-order River Rose and the Magical Christmas here ahead of its Oct. 24 release, and listen to Clarkson's latest Christmas track below.
