Next Town Down -- an R&B group made up of Leon Outlaw Jr., Malik Knighten, Terence Thomas, Tre'Von Waters and Chris Louis -- have a new song for their growing fan base, known as Townies. The new song, "Man on the Loose," sees the guys pleading with a girl to leave her current boyfriend who treats her wrong.

The upbeat melody juxtaposes a serious tone in the lyrics. "I know that you are waiting just for him to come around/ He never will," they sing, each taking turn on the lead. "Oh baby, oh/ Has anyone told you the truth lately?/ I hate to be the one to do it, baby/ Your man is out there on the loose, baby."

“We are excited to give our fans -- especially the young ladies -- a song that tells them they can find a guy who’ll treat them right,” Tre'Von tells Billboard, with Leon adding playfully, “and that should be one of us."

The group formed organically through social media, when Tre'Von, Chris and Terence were liking each other's photos on Instagram until eventually, they started messaging and threw around the idea of forming a group, inspired by their icons, Boyz II Men and New Edition. After they found Malik on Instagram and Leon on YouTube, they soon all moved to L.A., where they started gaining traction on the app Musical.ly -- becoming the fastest growing user in Musical.ly's history, with their video chronicling the evolution of boy bands going viral.
