Louis Tomlinson dropped the lyric video to his recent single "Just Like You" on Tuesday (Oct. 17), tweeting out the sunglasses-smiley-face emoji and hardly anything else to announce the clip, which really surprised fans.

His followers were quick to reply with their favorite screen grabs of the video, including soccer star Messi and many of Tomlinson's dramatic poses. The visual was edited together like a ransom note, with cut-and-paste newspaper-style phrases and photos and thick marker drawings on top.

The single, which arrived last Thursday (Oct. 12) is the singer's first completely-solo track, which followed his two prior singles "Just Hold On" featuring Steve Aoki and "Back to You" featuring Bebe Rexha. When Tomlinson first teased the single on Oct. 11, he promised the lyric video would soon follow, and fulfilled the promise only several days later.

Tomlinson's debut solo album has yet to be named, and still does not have a release date. Watch the lyric video to its lead single, "Just Like You," below.
