Niall Horan will release his debut solo album Flicker on Friday (Oct. 20), so on Monday (Oct. 16) fans rejoiced when they got an appetizer when in the form of a 30-second video of Niall singing track No. 9, "Fire Away."

In the Twitter sneak peek, the 24-year-old Irishman is sitting comfortably before a studio microphone before he is seen (and heard) picking at one of the many guitars in the room. The only words we hear Horan sing are "fire away," but the essence of the song can be felt -- something of a soft lullaby that would make John Mayer proud.

Shortly after posting his "Fire Away" teaser, Horan tweeted that he'll be appearing on The Today Show next Thursday (Oct. 26).

Three singles have been released from the album so far: "This Town," "Slow Hands" and "Too Much To Ask."

You can watch each single's accompanying video below.
