He called it "one of my favorite songs recently that's come out of this place."

Monday night Harry Styles' tour hit Nashville's Ryman Auditorium, where he performed a cover of Little Big Town's hit "Girl Crush" during his concert. Little Big Town held a residency at the Ryman this year that concluded earlier this month.

The city proved the perfect setting for the British singer to try his hand at American country twang as the audience knew all of the words to the song. During his cover, Styles stayed relatively faithful to the original guitar-driven ballad, adapting it to an acoustic sound -- until the guitar solo, at least.

During the concert Styles said the Ryman was "kind of the reason" why he booked this tour, complimenting the "beautiful" room, as Rolling Stone reports. He also called the song "one of my favorite songs recently that's come out of this place."
