Brooke Simpson claimed Season 13's first four-chair turn after she auditioned with Demi Lovato's "Stone Cold" on The Voice premiere on Monday night (Sept. 25). Blake Shelton hit his button first, shortly followed by Miley Cyrus, Adam Levine and new judge Jennifer Hudson.

"Girl, you better sing!" Hudson yelled after turning her chair. And after Simpson finished singing, Levine ran up to the stage -- as he does -- to give her a hug. "You guys smell that," he said. "Smells like victory."

Cyrus, who said she was also tempted to run up and hug Simpson, further insisted that there was something special about the final contestant of the night. "You know you're good, because I'm a little speechless," she said, "and that doesn't ever happen."

And as all four judges continued to vie for Simpson, Cyrus fought hard. "I'm gonna win this season," she declared, "and I want to do it with you. I have it written down right here because I believe what you write down comes true." Hudson butted in by saying, "I wrote mine down, too, but I had to throw my book at you. That is a compliment."

When Shelton finally got his turn to speak, he noted, "every now and then, there's a singer that comes across this stage that just simply needs an opportunity, and I think that's where you're at with your talent, with your artistry. It's just about creating the right moments and the right opportunities."

"I actually happen to agree with him," Levine joked, "which is extraordinarily rare."
