"Let me see that mug of yours!"

Justin Bieber and Niall Horran might be two of the biggest pop stars in the world, but that doesn’t stop them from clowning each other on Instagram like regular pals.

Bieber’s apparently a big fan of the cover of Horan’s upcoming solo debut, Flicker, and while the two singers were hanging out on Sunday he playfully prodded the One Direction alum to smile for the camera. “Let me see that mug of yours!” a video on Bieber's Instagram stories shows him saying. Horan refused, so Bieber took matters into his own hands.

The “Love Yourself” singer uploaded a poorly lit selfie in which he’s wearing a blank facial expression, parodying the piercing gaze on Horan’s own album cover. He then posted a picture of the Flicker artwork to give his followers a side-by-side comparison.

Clearly he did something right: His selfie has already accumulated nearly 2 million likes.

Bask in Bieber's immaculately pensive expression below.
