Liam Payne's next single, "Bedroom Floor" -- his girlfriend's favorite track -- is coming Oct. 20, he revealed in a tweet Saturday (Sept. 23).

Yes, that is the same day his former One Direction comrade Niall Horan will release his debut solo album, <a href="/articles/columns/pop/7973723/niall-horan-new-album-flicker-track-list">Flicker</a>.

Payne told <a href="http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/articles/4WwvVW7q1HNj4zxf1jtYBmX/14-things-we-discovered-about-liam-payne-on-the-radio-1-breakfast-show" target="_blank">BBC Radio 1</a> about the song back in May: "'Bedroom Floor' was the single before this ['Strip That Down'] was the single. Naturally, it could only be the next one."

He also shared that his girlfriend, Cheryl Cole, is a big fan of the tune: "We both like that song, and it's been her favorite from the start."

Payne is wasting no time keeping the buzz going after releasing a guerilla-style video Tuesday (Sept. 19) for his hit single with Zedd, <a href="/articles/columns/pop/7968818/zedd-liam-payne-video-get-low">"Get Low."</a>
