Big girls don’t cry, they get right back on stage and keep the show going. On Thursday (Sept. 14) singer Fergie and Josh Duhamel announced they had split after eight years of marriage. Just two days later, Fergie performed at the Rock in Rio Festival in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Fergie’s ensemble doubled as an advertisement for her upcoming visual release Double Dutchess, with the album name printed on her mismatched thigh high boots. Her outfit was completed with an edgy black and white lace-up bodysuit and dramatic cape. Eleven years after the release of her solo album The Dutchess and Fergie’s still got it. The singer included previous hits like “Fergalicious” in her Saturday performance, to the delight of fans.

Fergie couldn’t have gotten to where she is without the help of her fans, and she let them know on Friday (Sept. 15). The singer thanked her die hard fans on an Instagram Story, saying, “I want to thank all of you in your different ways. Whether it be helping online with all the naysayers or just helping me with the fashion or just sometimes being there for me when I need to read something that’s filled with love.” She continued, “Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. I’m so glad this whole race has been to get here … I thank you so much, everybody, I appreciate you so much. I’m so blessed.”

Double Dutchess will be released on Sept. 22.
