Kesha Offers Support As Selena Gomez & Lady Gaga Cope With Chronic Illnesses

"We're all human & need self care. I hope both these icons heal safe & feel good."

On Friday (Sept. 15), Kesha released a statement in support of Selena Gomez and Lady Gaga, as they recover from their respective chronic illnesses. 

"My heart is with selena gomez and lady gaga today," Kesha wrote in a social media post. "We're all human & need self care. i hope both these icons heal safe & feel good. such wonderful role models for being so honest with a very critical world."

Gaga opens up about her struggles with fibromyalgia in her upcoming Netflix documentary Gaga: Five Foot Two and on Thursday was hospitalized and forced to cancel her performance at the Rock in Rio music festival in Brazil.

On Thursday it was also revealed that earlier this summer Gomez received a kidney transplant from close friend Francia RaĆ­sa due to complications with the auto-immune disease lupus.
