Lorde and Khalid attend the 2017 MTV Video Music Awards at The Forum on Aug. 27, 2017 in Inglewood, Calif.

On Wednesday (Sept. 13) Lorde teased a new remix of “Homemade Dynamite” off her recent album Melodrama. On Twitter, the singer posted the remix’s cover art – a Polaroid-esque portrait in a room of helium balloons, one in particular hiding her face – with one-word caption “Tomorrow.” The new version of the song features additional vocals from SZA, Khalid and Post Malone.

The remix of “Homemade Dynamite” is Lorde’s first release following her enthusiastic silent dancing to the original track at the VMAs. The singer, extremely sick with the flu, took to the stage with a boombox and did her best interpretive dancing.

While some viewers found it discomforting to watch the singer improvise when she was under-the-weather, Lorde didn’t care at all. The singer joined the Sept. 7 episode of WTF with Mark Maron to defend her admittedly charming performance, stating, “It’s sort of embarrassing to watch someone experience intense joy. Way more than pain … and I think that’s why people find what I do quite disconcerting.”

Based on the star-studded roster for the Thursday (Sept. 14) release of the “Homemade Dynamite” remix, we can only assume fans will be dancing similarly in the privacy of their own homes when they hear it.
