Demi Lovato performs during Day One of 2017 Billboard Hot 100 Festival at Northwell Health at Jones Beach Theater  on Aug. 19, 2017 in Wantagh, New York.

Soon after announcing details about her upcoming Tell Me You Love Me album and teasing its title track, Demi Lovato dropped the full song.

"Tell Me You Love Me," the follow-up to lead single "Sorry Not Sorry," is now streaming and available for download. The full album, out on Sept. 29, is also up for pre-order here.

Compared to the confident, unapologetic "Sorry Not Sorry," Lovato sings a different tune of longing on "Tell Me You Love Me."

"Oh no, here we go again/ Fighting over what I said/ I'm sorry, yeah I’m sorry/ Bad at love, no, I'm not good at this/ But I can't say I’m innocent/ Not hardly, but I'm sorry," the first verse begins. On the chorus, Lovato pleads, "Oh, tell me you love me/ I need someone on days like this, I do."
