Calvin Harris to Perform at Rihanna's Diamond Ball

The superstar DJ and producer will join fellow performers rapper Kendrick Lamar and host Dave Chappelle for the event, which benefits the Clara Lionel Foundation.

Rihanna announced Wednesday (Aug. 16) that Calvin Harris will perform at her third annual Diamond Ball at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Sept. 14. Harris will join fellow performers rapper Kendrick Lamar and host Dave Chappelle for the event, which benefits Rihanna's Clara Lionel Foundation.

Harris and Rihanna have previously collaborated together, most notably with last year's "This Is What You Came For" and Rihanna's 2011 single "We Found Love," which the Scottish DJ wrote and produced. 

"I’m ecstatic to add my longtime collaborator and friend Calvin Harris to the stellar line-up at this year’s Diamond Ball,” Rihanna said in a statement. "Calvin’s music will bring the perfect mix of energy and excitement to the evening as we celebrate the Clara Lionel Foundation."

The Barbadian singer founded the Clara Lionel Foundation in 2012. Named in honor of her grandparents, Clara and Lionel Braithwaite, the nonprofit supports and funds healthcare and education programs around the world, according to the organization's website
