Pink Reveals New Album Title, Cover Art
"I'm certifiably, insanely proud of this album."
The rumors are true: Pink is splashing back onto the music scene with a new album called Beautiful Trauma, set to drop Oct. 13, the singer announced via Instagram on Wednesday (Aug. 9).
Pink also confirmed the album's new single, "What About Us," expressing her excitement to share the news with fans.
"I could not be more excited right now. My single comes out today 'what About Us' and my new album 'Beautiful Trauma' comes out October 13th," reads the Instagram photo's caption. "I'm certifiably, insanely proud of this album. It's been a while, and I'm grateful for all the years we've had. Looking forward to the next chapter with you."
She first teased the new single through social media on Monday, offering Thursday, Aug. 10 as its release date. After fans noticed the discrepancy between the release dates in the two posts, Pink corrected her error on Twitter, confirming Aug. 10 as the day the single will drop.
The last time we heard from Pink was through her March single "Waterfall" with Stargate and Sia. The upcoming album release will mark the 37-year-old singer's seventh LP -- and the first since 2012's The Truth About Love.
Check out the announcement below, where the "Raise Your Glass" singer rocks a bedazzled brassiere and enormous hoop earrings for what's presumably the cover art.
