Tigertown Takes Over Summer With New 'Warriors' Track and Visualizer: Exclusive

Australian alt-pop group Tigertown are set to make their splash in the states with the summer-ready smash “Warriors” and its equally vibrant visualizer, available exclusively on Billboard below.

The visualizer is a perfect pairing for the peak summer heat with shots of the band soaking up sun by the beach, taking in the constellations, and lighting up the live stage. It’s an ideal day out in the sun but maybe not as realistically enjoyable as the average person might find outside this time of year. Fittingly enough, that difference goes right to the heart of the song.

“‘Warriors’ is about wishing that things in real life were as good as in your dreams,” guitarist Chris Collins tells Billboard. “We have been working on an album and we seem to have a theme of trying to connect dreams, memories and reality.”

For a band that’s balancing work on a debut album with supporting slots on tours with Tove Lo and Vérité, it’s no wonder why the quartet would begin to question what is real and what is not. However, with the instant accessibility of “Warriors,” it’s certain that the band’s burgeoning success is anything but fantasy.

Check out the visualizer for “Warriors” below and listen to the full track here via Neon Gold and Atlantic Records. Tour dates are available below the jump.
