For months the internet has been freaking out trying to find out more details on Zendaya's Michelle character in the upcoming Spider-Man: Homecoming movie. Well, on Tuesday night (June 21) the 20 year-old former Disney singer-actress continued the slow reveal of her mysterious role in the film, also staring Tom Holland, Robert Downey Jr., Michael Keaton and Donald Glover.

"I play a character named Michelle, but nobody believes me... it really is Michelle," she said of realizing her dream of leaping from the small screen to a major motion picture. "My character's very interesting. She's kind of like a loner. Super intellectual, very dry humor, one liners, pops in, pops out. I didn't even know what kind of character I was going to play until I got there and signed the non-disclosure [agreement] and then read the script."

The actress said she was also excited when she finally got to see the whole movie, because her scenes all took place on the Peter Parker side of life, not the swinging superhero world. "Everything that I shot when we were shooting, it just felt like I was shooting this awkward teen, coming-of-age comedy kind of thing," she said.
