The singer asked teenage girls to "prove" they were his biggest fans with sexually explicit videos.
YouTube singer Austin Jones, 24, was arrested at Chicago's O'Hare Airport on Monday on two charges of production of child pornography. He is currently being held in federal custody with a bond hearing expected for Wednesday.
Jones is accused of using Facebook and iMessage to solicit sexually explicit videos from teenage girls, pressuring them to "prove" that they were his biggest fans. His alleged victims were 14 and 15-years-old.
He was arraigned on Tuesday (June 13), where federal prosecutors argued he's a risk to the community and that there's a danger he'll flee. If convicted, Jones faces a minimum of 15 years in prison, the Chicago Sun Times reports.
