The international star made his U.S. late-night TV debut Monday (June 12).
Latin star Luis Fonsi has made waves in the U.S. in recent weeks with the popularity of his No. 1 hit single “Despacito.” On Monday (June 12), Fonsi continued to ride out his recent success with his first U.S. late-night television appearance by performing on Late Night with Conan O’Brian.
On Conan, the international artist gave a lively, passionate performance of “Despacito,” which has been at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 for five weeks thanks to the remix featuring Justin Bieber. Though Fonsi wasn’t joined by Bieber or original featured artist Daddy Yankee, he showed off his own romantic vocal chops and was accompanied on stage by a group of dancers grooving to the track.
