Budding music superstars rejoice: The rebooted American Idol audition train is getting ready to leave the station and new judge Katy Perry just called "All Aboard!"
Near the end of her 96-hour Witness World Wide live stream stunt, the pop star popped into the Idol Twitter feed on Monday morning (June 12) to announced the dates for live auditions, which will take place in Chicago on Sept. 11 and New Orleans on Sept. 14.
"I am so excited to be a part of the search for the next American Idol," Perry says in the clip. "Auditions are open, so what are you waiting for? I want to hear from you."
