Selena Gomez and The Weeknd attend the "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art Of The In-Between" Costume Institute Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 1, 2017 in New York City.

Gomez says she loves supporting the Weeknd backstage at his shows.

Even though Selena Gomez has been busy these past couple of weeks, between releasing her latest single "Bad Liar" and gearing up for the release of her upcoming album, the pop singer could not be happier with both her professional and personal lives.

On Monday (June 5), Gomez popped in on a few radio shows for interviews, sharing details of her typically private relationship with The Weeknd and what we can expect in terms of her new music.

During an interview with SiriusXM’s Nicole Ryan, Gomez gleamed about her relationship with the Starboy and spoke about being backstage at his shows. "I love being supportive," she said. "I love just being there and having someone's back. It feels good. I haven’t had that feeling in awhile.”

Even though Gomez is constantly touring and throws a massive show, she also added that she enjoys having a break from that by being backstage during The Weeknd’s concerts, where she's free to throw her “hair in a bun” and “dance all night.”

Gomez also shared details about her upcoming album, saying “all of the new music that’s coming is very different from the Kygo record ['It Ain't Me'] to ‘Bad Liar.’ The next one is completely different from ‘Bad Liar.’" She said. "It’s an evolution and I know it’s different and I just wanted it to sound like something I’ve never done before."
