One Direction's Solo Magazine Covers, From 'GQ' to Niall Horan's 'Billboard' Shoot
Niall Horan has officially become the second One Direction member to earn himself a spot on the cover of Billboard, following in the footsteps of his former bandmate Zayn Malik, who graced the cover in January 2016 ahead of his solo album release.
As One Direction die-hards would know, though, Horan's Billboard cover isn't the first time he's been honored with the prime spot on a magazine -- nor is it even close to the first time we've seen a 1D guy on a cover. Heck, when they were still a fivesome, One Direction was on so many magazine covers it's hard to even keep count. In fact, the guys even got their own face time while they were in the band, doing solo cover shoots for GQ, Fabulous, Teen Vogue and Seventeen.
Now that they're doing their own things, the One Direction guys are turning up on mag cover after mag cover -- especially Malik, who has been on nearly 20 covers since breaking off from the band in March 2015. The only exception is Louis Tomlinson, who has kept a pretty low profile other than releasing his Steve Aoki collaboration "Just Hold On" in December.
Take a look at the magazine covers each 1D member has graced (not including covers from their time in the band) below.
