Jimmy Fallon and Harry Styles pose in Studio 8H for Saturday Night Live on April 11, 2017.

Directioners everywhere are getting their popcorn ready and setting their TVs to NBC for the big moment that’s coming later tonight: Harry Styles takes the Saturday Night Live stage solo.

This is already exciting enough for One Direction fans, as Styles’ SNL performance not only marks his solo live TV debut, but also the first time a One Direction member has graced the SNL stage since they performed on it as a band in December 2014. He’ll definitely be singing his first single “Sign of the Times,” as well as one other from his forthcoming self-titled debut album -- which was just announced to be released May 12 – but there’s so many other possibilities of things that could happen during Styles’ time on SNL.

Take a look at what we’re hoping to see when Styles appears on SNL (alongside host Jimmy Fallon) tonight.

A One Direction reunion of some capacity

Okay, maybe this is wishful thinking, but since this is the first time a 1D member has appeared on SNL since the group began their hiatus, how could at least one of Styles’ former bandmates not want to support him? Even if no one appears on stage with Styles, simply finding out that one of them was there to watch is enough for Directioners to swoon.

A skit appearance, maybe even co-starring Kristen Wiig

While Styles’ first acting role is on the more dramatic side, he caught the attention of Christopher Nolan – clearly he’s a stellar actor. And as he’s proved with One Direction on SNL and beyond, he also has some pretty spot-on comedic timing, which would make him perfect for an SNL skit (especially when Jimmy Fallon is involved).

If anything, we HAVE to see Kristen Wiig’s Harry Styles and the real Harry Styles come together in real life. Perhaps they could rap battle “Will the real Harry Styles please stand up,” hosted by Fallon?

A new Dunkirk trailer

There has been plenty of hype surrounding Styles’ breakout acting role, but other than a quick glimpse in a trailer released in December, we still haven’t seen much of Styles’ part in Dunkirk. Might as well supplement the TV debut of his solo music with an extended trailer to simultaneously show off his acting skills.

The comeback of the floral suit

It may have seemed like a rather interesting fashion choice for Styles when he rolled up to the 2015 American Music Awards, but it ultimately proved that he can pull off just about anything -- his last name does have "style" in it, after all. Considering we haven’t really seen the wardrobe Styles has been rocking since being solo, we don’t know what to expect outfit-wise when he takes the SNL stage – and we would not be upset if it involved more flowers.

A full showcase of his vocal range

Five years and five albums of One Direction served as a serious platform for Styles to show fans what’s he’s capable of with his voice, and we’d expect no less from his solo television debut. “Sign of the Times” has its fair share of impressive moments in itself, but we hope to see more of that Styles’ second song choice as well.

A tour announcement

Within a week of when Styles blessed us with his first solo single, he also revealed that his debut album is only a month away. We figure, why not add one more exciting announcement to the bunch, and really make Harry fans’ heads explode by unveiling plans for his first international live solo dates?
